Cohiba Selección 50th Anniversary Travel Humidor

The Cohiba Selección 50th Anniversary Travel Humidor is an exceptionally rare commemorative collection celebrating 50 years of Cohiba.

Unveiled by Habanos in 2016, the collection brings together eight carefully selected cigars representing four of Cohiba's most prestigious lines: Línea Clásica, Línea 1492, Maduro 5 and Behike.

Presented in an elegant leather-bound travel humidor, each collection contains two Cohiba BHK 56, two Pirámides Extra, two Siglo VI and two Genios. Only 10,000 of these travel humidors were produced worldwide, originally created exclusively for Duty Free and Travel Retail.

Rather than commemorating Cohiba's anniversary with a single cigar, the Selección 50 Aniversario provides an opportunity to experience four distinctly different expressions of the marque within one highly collectable presentation.

The Cohiba Selection

The Cohiba BHK 56 is the largest cigar in the renowned Behike range, measuring 6 1/2" x 56. Its blend incorporates the scarce medio tiempo tobacco leaf, contributing exceptional richness and complexity alongside notes of cedar, leather, cocoa, roasted nuts and spice.

The Cohiba Pirámides Extra measures 6 1/4" x 54 and represents the Línea Clásica. Its tapered format delivers an elegant progression of cedar, cream, coffee and sweet spice, combining considerable depth with the refinement associated with classic Cohiba.

The Cohiba Siglo VI, measuring 5 7/8" x 52, represents the Línea 1492. One of Cohiba's most celebrated formats, it offers a beautifully balanced combination of cedar, cocoa, coffee, honeyed sweetness and measured pepper.

Completing the collection is the Cohiba Genios, a 5 1/2" x 52 cigar from the Maduro 5 range. Its distinctive dark wrapper undergoes five years of ageing, producing a richer profile characterised by dark chocolate, roasted coffee, earth, wood and natural sweetness.

Together, the four cigars provide a fascinating exploration of Cohiba, ranging from the elegance of the Siglo VI and Pirámides Extra to the darker character of the Genios and the complexity of the prestigious BHK 56.
