Cohiba Talisman 2026 60th Anniversary Gift Box of 3 Cigars

The Cohiba Talisman 2026 60th Anniversary Gift Box of 3 Cigars celebrates six decades of one of Cuba's most prestigious cigar marques. Released to commemorate Cohiba's 60th anniversary in 2026, this exclusive United Kingdom presentation contains three Cohiba Talisman cigars, each distinguished by a special commemorative anniversary band. With only 6,500 gift boxes produced, this exceptional release combines a landmark occasion in Cuban cigar history with a presentation created specifically for the British market.

Originally introduced in 2017 as an Edición Limitada, the Cohiba Talisman returns in 2026 as a permanent addition to the celebrated Línea Clásica collection. The cigar retains its distinctive Sublimes No. 1 format, measuring 6 1/8" with a 54 ring gauge, together with its elegant pigtail cap. Although its familiar dimensions and identity remain, the 2026 edition introduces a new blend developed for the regular Cohiba portfolio rather than reproducing the original Limited Edition.

The international launch took place on 7 October 2026 at The Orangery, Kensington Palace, London, hosted in collaboration with Habanos S.A. and Hunters & Frankau. The occasion marked the beginning of the Year of Cohiba celebrations and brought the Talisman back to the city where it was first introduced nine years earlier. This limited three-cigar presentation commemorates that significant moment in the brand's history.

Flavour Profile

The Cohiba Talisman 2026 offers a medium-to-full smoking experience characterised by the distinctive richness and refinement associated with the Línea Clásica collection. Handmade in Cuba using carefully selected long-filler tobaccos from the renowned Vuelta Abajo region, the blend is designed to deliver balance, aromatic depth and an evolving flavour profile throughout its substantial Sublimes No. 1 format.

According to the official Habanos tasting description, the cigar opens with prominent woody characteristics, producing a dense smoke and a balanced expression of Cuban tobacco. As the smoking experience develops, the woody notes become more pronounced, accompanied by subtle herbal nuances and a lingering, rounded finish.

During the final third, the Talisman develops greater intensity, with deeper woody flavours and delicate hints of roasted coffee. With an approximate smoking time of 60-90 minutes, this substantial Cuban cigar provides an unhurried experience that allows its different characteristics to emerge gradually.

Ideal for Collectors and Discerning Aficionados

The Cohiba Talisman 2026 60th Anniversary Gift Box is particularly appealing to collectors of commemorative Cuban cigars and aficionados who appreciate significant releases from the Cohiba portfolio. Limited to just 6,500 presentations for the United Kingdom, the three-cigar gift box offers a distinctive way to mark the brand's historic anniversary.

The special anniversary band distinguishes these cigars from the standard Línea Clásica presentation, giving the UK-exclusive gift box additional significance for collectors. Its connection to the 2026 London launch also establishes a direct link between the original 2017 Edición Limitada and the Talisman's new place within Cohiba's permanent collection.

Presented as a set of three cigars, this commemorative release makes a distinguished gift for an experienced Cuban cigar enthusiast or a notable addition to a carefully curated humidor. Its combination of limited presentation, historic significance and established Cohiba craftsmanship gives it particular appeal to aficionados interested in the evolution of the marque.

About Cohiba

Established in 1966, Cohiba is one of the most internationally recognised names in premium Cuban cigars. Originally created for diplomatic and official use, the brand became commercially available in 1982 and has since developed a reputation for exceptional tobacco selection, meticulous craftsmanship and some of the most distinguished cigars within the Habanos portfolio.

Cohiba cigars are handmade using selected tobacco leaves cultivated in Cuba's celebrated Vuelta Abajo region, particularly the growing areas of San Juan y Martínez and San Luis. A defining characteristic of the brand is the additional fermentation applied to selected filler leaves, contributing to the distinctive refinement and complexity associated with Cohiba's traditional blends.

The Línea Clásica represents the original expression of the Cohiba brand, featuring celebrated vitolas that have become established favourites among discerning aficionados. The addition of the Talisman in 2026 marks an important development for the collection, bringing a cigar previously associated with limited production into the brand's regular portfolio.

The Cohiba Talisman 2026 60th Anniversary Gift Box of 3 Cigars celebrates this new chapter while honouring the brand's six decades of Cuban cigar heritage. Its exclusive UK presentation offers collectors and enthusiasts an opportunity to experience a significant release associated with the historic Year of Cohiba.
