Surrey Cigars is proud to host the 2026 CSWC UK Time Chase Event on Friday, 21st August 2026, at our Sampling Lounge in Guildford.

This event marks the end of the time chase events, and is your final shot to make it onto the CSWC Top 20 Leaderboard and earn your place among the world’s best slow smokers at the finals in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

The Competition Cigar:

🔥 The Official CSWC Cigar is an Oliva (Mareva Vitola)

Length: 5 1/8"  Ring Gauge: 42

Created especially for the 2025 championship, this cigar takes inspiration from the Oliva Melanio and Serie V lines. Wrapped in a branded CSWC band and presented in beautifully designed boxes, the competition cigar is as exclusive as the event itself.

The Rules – A Game of Patience:

✔️ One cigar per participant
✔️ One minute for prep – cut and light with two long matches
✔️ No talking, no drinking for the first 5 minutes
✔️ No relighting allowed—once it’s out, you’re out
✔️ No ash dropping for 40 minutes
✔️ Burn to the ring – and not beyond
✔️ The last cigar still burning wins!

The CSWC UK Slow Smoking Competition is proudly organised by Sarah Saunders, Founder & President of the Women’s International Cigar Club and Honourable Deputy Head Judge of the CSWC.
