🔥 The Godfather Cigar – A Cuban Rarity
Measuring an impressive 6¾" x 56 ring gauge, the Godfather cigar is unlike anything commercially available in the UK or Cuba. Crafted from the sacred 10% of tobacco that the Robaina family legally retains from each harvest, grown on the famed Alejandro Robaina Tobacco Plantation in Pinar del Río, these cigars are handmade with the finest leaves and are never exported or sold through retail channels.
This is the tobacco the Robaina family keeps for themselves. It cannot be bought in shops. It is not found online. It is as rare as unicorn tears.
🍂 A Legacy Like No Other
Alejandro Robaina (1919–2010) was more than a grower; he was a Cuban national treasure. His family’s tobacco cultivation dates back to 1845, and under his stewardship, the Robaina farm became the crown jewel of Cuban terroir.
While most farms were collectivised after the revolution, his remained independent, a testament to the respect he commanded. His prized leaves were selected for Cuba’s most iconic blends, including Cohiba and Hoyo de Monterrey. In 1997, the Cuban government honoured him by launching the Vegas Robaina brand, the only cigar line named after a grower.
Today, his grandson Hirochi Robaina continues the family legacy with the same passion and dedication. The Godfather cigar is a tribute to this legacy, a true collector’s piece, rich in heritage, craftsmanship, and soul.
